Brand Portals

Many of us resent the proliferation of brands across our countries. Too many Blockbusters, too many Starbuckses. However, if these brands offered an extra service, everything would be fine: if you could walk into any Blockbuster and pass through a portal that could take you to any other Blockbuster in the world – the more Blockbusters the better, right?

In theory, yes, it may be interesting to see the Blockbuster selection from a west Aylesbury branch in Buckinghamshire England, but having actually seen this very store it has come to my attention that Blockbuster truely is a sad and mediocre video store worldwide, …and it has no adult section… I would, however, use the local Blocbuster to travel to the Dublin Blockbuster, have a pint at the local, and travel safely home.

Yes, and if there are no Blockbusters in the south of France at present I would be lobbying for their construction, instead of bitching about their overall sinister influence on moviemaking.

Also, it’s nice to see a bit of the Apriori around these parts. Cheerz!

I’ve been to a Blockbuster in Cancun. It wasn’t much different. Aside from the, ya know, Spanish.
