I really feel sorry for you. The managers of major bands always choose support acts very carefully (e.g. rubbish ones) just so this doesn’t happen.

Just to clarify, it was not I who had the strokes open for me – as you can see that part is in quotes, taken from the web site I link to – nor do I hate the strokes, far from it.

k i did like the strokes but untill i herd what albert said about jet (the band) well no ,i dont respect them at all, anybody to say that to somebody eals ,that put all they have into what they do and for some hot shot to go and say …” yea they make me not wana play music” smack in the face not cool, and hey just keep up the music fuck the strokes (Ass holes)

I love Jet, I think it is about time rock went back to the 70’s time of rock. Like AC/DC and The Who. I am the biggest fan of Jet because I was getting tired of Stain and otehr stuff like that who think they are rock.

ok. the strokes r a very good band. in fact they r my favorite present day band. their music is glorious. but dont get all pissy about what albert said about jet. thats his opinion. and actually i think the jet cd sucks. except for like 2 songs. alberts right. and bands can hate eachother. its natural.

Strokes are easily my favorite band of present day, prolly ever. They were new , they still sound incredible and they’re the coolest, looking, sounding band ive ever seen, or atleast in the past 30 years. As for jet, i loved that one song.. the be my girl one, bought their cd, liked it, but it never grew on me so i kinda see where albert was coming from, they sound old and straight forward which is cool but it sounds done, so i prefer the strokes easily..cause theyre awsome…alot
o as for the first comment about opening bands, when i saw the strokes, the walkmen were opening. it was incredible cause im a walkmen fan and both bands were equally awsome. well..i guess the strokes were better but thats even a tough call cause the walkmen were so good, so i guess they try to get the rubbish bands, but as far as im concerned i just got an awsome 2 for 1
