pants
Inspired by mageebags’ post yesterday, I think we should all lobby for .pants as a new top-level domain. I have deliberated carefully, and am convinced that every single domain name sounds better with pants at the end. Sankey.pants, yahoo.pants, audiogalaxy.pants, yourdomain.pants. Fuck .biz. This is something we should all get behind.
Before you get a petition going around about making pants as the top level domain name perhaps you might want to know that pants, in Japan, refers to one’s underwear. Or that in England, right now, pants means something is really quite terrible. But then again, maybe that is the appeal?
Ooh yeah! Even better, in my opinion. Can you elaborate on the UK usage?
I did a little search on pseudodictionary ( hard to link to, as their nameserver is down), and there are quite a variety of great meanings. C’mon, let’s make this happen…
I wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment. It is about time that pants receive the recognition they deserve.
