Things that have been
Things that have been caught in my head:
- word: degenerate. (adj.) Normally applied to gamblers, i.e. “he’s a degenerate gambler.” I have been applying it liberally to drunks, non-drunks, tailgaters, SUV drivers.
- movie title: Dude, Where’s My Car? Quite possibly, the best movie title ever. Clearly, concisely and creatively indicates subject matter and proposed target audience of film. Subject matter: lost car, querying of “dude” as to whereabouts. Target audience: people who would watch a movie with “dude” in the title.
- music: Burt Bacharach. Truly a God among men.
