So in honour of Video Games Live which is coming to Toronto this weekend I thought I’d remind us all of some good game music times…with a twist. This is the first, you might have heard it before…

    yeah i have this whole design for a room wherein your movements are translated into sound and water/air movement and lighting effects…

    of course, i have no the muns for such a project…

    but this sort of reminds me of the idea swimming in my head…

    The PSN (PlayStation Network) game Mesmerize, and Mesmerize: Trace use the PlayStation Eye to follow your movements, and in Trace, follow the sounds you make to let the shapes, colours, and movement on the screen react to what you’re doing. It’s very intriguing and if you had screens or projected the images onto your walls you could kinda experience a room like that. Poor mans holodeck, but it would be tres relaxing.
