You didn’t make it up; they’re out there! Caveat Drivor, or is it Drivor Emptor? You know, the Latin expression. Nevermind, just be careful. It might be helpful to drive around with your pet, if possible. If the hitchhiker goes to talk to your pet first, that’s a good sign you should just speed off.
